Nalbind Like a Viking
Nalbinding is an ancient textile art, pre-dating both knitting and crochet. The fibre art was commonly used by Scandinavian peoples but examples of textiles have been found in China, Egypt, Italy and Peru. The craft uses a large needle, commonly made of wood, antler, or bone, to a series of interwoven, knot like loops. The fabric produces is very durable and does not unravel. Come learn the ancient art of nalbinding!
Participants will be required to bring:
